Measurements & product dimensions
With measurements enabled, the published viewer offers a measure control: shoppers tap it to see dimension lines with width, height and depth labels drawn around the product, technical-drawing style — offset from the model with clean extension lines, so the product itself stays unobstructed.

- Product dimensions overrides computed labels with your catalogue values — fill only the axes you want to fix, empty fields stay automatic. Turning it on also enables the measure control, no separate setup.
Automatic measurements
Section titled “Automatic measurements”By default every label is computed live from the model on screen. When a shopper switches to a different size or variation, the labels follow — a two-seater and a three-seater each report their own true dimensions with no extra setup.
Measurements are enabled per project in the scene editor’s Dimensions panel, where you also pick the display unit (mm, cm, m, inch, ft).
Product dimensions override
Section titled “Product dimensions override”Sometimes the number you want shoppers to see is the catalogue value, not the raw model geometry — packaging dimensions, a rounded marketing figure, or a corrected value for a model that was exported slightly off-scale.
Each product in a configurator can carry its own override. In the configurator’s settings, enable Product dimensions:
- Pick the unit for this product’s labels.
- Fill only the axes you want to fix — empty fields stay automatic, filled ones replace the computed label.
Turning on Product dimensions also switches measurements on for the project, so the measure control appears in the published viewer without a separate setup step. Turning it off switches measurements back off — unless another product in the same configurator still carries an override, in which case the control stays available for that product.
The override travels with the product: when shoppers switch products in a multi-product configurator, each product shows its own values, and products without an override fall back to the automatic behaviour.
Where it applies
Section titled “Where it applies”- The published viewer and embeds — the measure control appears whenever measurements are enabled for the project.
- Multi-part assemblies measure the assembled whole, not just the base part.
- Labels respect the product’s unit; switching products switches units too if they differ.
