Scene editor overview
The scene editor controls how a product looks and feels before any configurator logic: framing, light, materials and interactive storytelling.
What you control
Section titled “What you control”| Area | Highlights |
|---|---|
| Camera & saved views | Set the opening view shoppers see first; save additional framings. |
| Lighting | HDR environments plus a studio key light with a soft spot that reaches the model subtly; sensible defaults out of the box. |
| Shadows | Ground shadows that track the model automatically. |
| Materials | Adjust PBR materials per model without round-tripping to your DCC tool. |
| Annotations & hotspots | Points of interest with focus cameras — click to fly to a detail. |
| Animations | Play model animations on triggers (click, marker). |
| Scene states | Saved scene setups you can switch between. |
How it relates to the configurator
Section titled “How it relates to the configurator”Scene setup (lighting, shadows, camera) carries into the configurator per variation — a finish swap keeps your lighting design intact. Per-part cameras are configured in the Configurator section.
